Dr. Berk Issues Video Message to University Community
Below, in a special online video message issued Thursday, Oct. 1, URMC CEO Bradford C. Berk, M.D., Ph.D., made his first public “appearance” to the University community since his bicycling accident this past spring.
In addition to thanking the community for its outpouring of encouragement, prayers and well-wishes, Dr. Berk candidly talks about his accident, rescue, and the care he received at Strong Memorial. He also describes the extent of his injury, the progress he made while at the Kessler Institute in New Jersey, and his plans to continue outpatient rehabilitation therapy here in Rochester, while Mark Taubman continues as Acting CEO.
