Symposium Explores Frontiers of Genomics and Medicine: The Genomics and Translational Medicine Symposium will be held at the University of Rochester on October 22-23, 2009. The symposium will focus on topics in genomics and medicine, including speakers from academia, government, and the private sector. The meeting is designed to explore the promise and challenges associated with personalized medicine, building on the University’s NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award and the recently established Clinical and Translational Science Institute at the University of Rochester.
