Genomics and Translational Medicine Symposium- October 22-23, 2009
The Genomics and Translational Medicine Symposium will be held at the University of Rochester on October 22-23, 2009 and is being co-sponsored by the Office of Corporate Alliances and the Clinical and Translational Science Institute. The symposium will focus on topics in genomics and medicine, including speakers from academia, government, and the private sector. The meeting is designed to explore the promise and challenges associated with personalized medicine, building on the University’s NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award and the recently established Clinical and Translational Science Institute at the University of Rochester.
The symposium will emphasize both technologies and applications related to translational medicine, while also discussing national policies impacting these fields.
The Symposium will kick-off with an evening keynote by Mara Aspinall (President & CEO, On-Q-ity and member, HHS Secretary's Advisory Committee on Genetics, Health, and Society) on October 22nd.
The symposium is free but Registration is required.
