Regional Health Information Organization
URMC is participating in the Rochester RHIO, a new electronic health network facilitating the exchange of patients’ medical information among physicians and authorized providers in nine local counties. We are in the process of implementing RHIO at the Medical Center and we will soon be able to use this new tool to ensure that important medical information can be accessed regardless of where patients receive their care.
