This free set of resources on Blackboard is designed to help University of Rochester researchers learn more about the principles and purpose of bioinformatics.
Goals
This course provides an introduction for researchers interested in bioinformatics and their applications.

Enroll
To access this course, you must enroll in the CTSI Research Education Hub on Blackboard:
- Log into learn.rochester.edu using your UR/URMC Active Directory credentials
- Select the Courses tab.
- If you are already enrolled, CTSI Research Education Hub will be listed among your "CONTINUOUS" courses. Select that.
- Scroll down to Learning Modules and select it.
- Find the Bioinformatics module and select it.
If CTSI Research Education Hub is not listed:
- Log into learn.rochester.edu using your Active Directory credentials.
- Select the Courses tab on the left-hand toolbar, then select the Course Catalog option in the upper righthand corner of the screen.
- Search for "CTSI Research Education Hub" in the search catalog box, ensuring the creation date is before the current date, and click "Go."
- Hover over "SMD.CTSI.BERD" and click the dropdown arrow, then select "Enroll."
- The UR CTSI Research Education Hub should now be listed in your Course List.
Eligibility
University of Rochester investigators are welcome to enroll.
