Dissemination and Implementation Consultation
Dissemination and Implementation Consultation
The rapidly growing field of dissemination and implementation science examines the barriers, facilitators, and context-sensitive strategies to disseminate scientific evidence and to implement evidence-based interventions in clinics and communities. Our Dissemination and Implementation team works with researchers and clinical teams to incorporate these concepts and tools in their research and evaluation projects.
Features
We can help you incorporate the dissemination and implementation concepts and tools into the design, conduct, and evaluation of studies, grant proposals, and research career development plans. We can also assist clinical teams to design and conduct local clinical and community implementation projects (e.g. as a part of quality improvement activities).

Funding
The UR CTSI offers several grants and awards to stimulate and support early-phase research that incorporates elements of dissemination and implementation. Learn more about our Mini-Grant for Nurses, Pipeline to Pilot Award, and Pilot Award.
Webinar
The UR CTSI’s dissemination and implementation function regularly hosts seminars to help researchers gain knowledge and skill in the design and evaluation of evidence-based interventions with a focus on addressing population health.

TIDIRC Dissemination and Implementation Science Learning Module
This module is based on an OpenAccess course developed by the Training Institute for Dissemination and Implementation Research in Cancer (TIDIRC). It provides six modules and additional resources to educate users about the purpose, theory, and implementation of dissemination and implementation research.
UCLA Rapid, Rigorous, Relevant (3R) Implementation Science Hub Video Playlist
Developed by the national CTSA Dissemination and Implementation Working Group, this video list is designed for researchers and trainees who want to learn about existing resources such as workshops, online material, databases, methods and tools, and more. The compendium is regularly updated to keep up with the advancements of the science. The resource is useful for health researchers and trainees, as well as practitioners and quality improvement staff looking for training and techniques to better disseminate and implement health innovations in clinical and community settings.
