Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals are vastly under-represented in biomedical fields, making networking and mentorship difficult. URMC and RIT’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf sought to remedy this by bringing together Deaf and hard-of-hearing scientists at all career levels at the first ever Rochester Summer Research Training Institute.

Arthur Moss Receives Pioneer Award from the Heart Rhythm Society

The Heart Rhythm Society honored Arthur J. Moss, M.D., the Bradford C. Berk, M.D., Ph.D. Distinguished Professor in the Department of Medicine at URMC at their 38th Annual Scientific Sessions. Moss is an internationally recognized expert in the field of electrophysiology and has been an invaluable mentor for several students and early career faculty in CTSI-sponsored programs.
