UR CTSI Researchers Find Nationwide Links Between Vaping and COVID-19

man blowing smoke from an e-cigaretteStates with more vapers had larger numbers of daily coronavirus cases and deaths in the early weeks of the pandemic — with New York state as a hot spot, according to an analysis led by UR CTSI Biostatistician Dongmei Li, Ph.D. This finding, which was published in the journal Preventive Medicine Reports, adds to growing national evidence that draws a connection between vaping and the coronavirus.
