Six Feet Saves COVID-19 Campaign Receives Local Community Award

The UR CTSI and Center for Community Health & Prevention (CCHP) played pivotal roles in developing the "Six Feet Saves" campaign, which emphasized the importance of social distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19. The campaign was awarded the W. B. Potter Founders Award by Causewave Community Partners.

COVID-19 Biobank Helps Researchers Share Patients’ Samples

The dedicated biorepository will safely collect and store serum, plasma and immune cell samples from COVID-19-positive and -negative patients. Researchers will be able to request access to the samples, which will be linked to the patients’ de-identified clinical data.

Facing the Future: Team Science and Funding for Coronavirus Research

URMC investigators who are pursuing COVID-19-related grants are encouraged to participate in a series of virtual team science sessions, taking place May 11-14, to identify and discuss opportunities for funding and synergy and to receive feedback on applications.
