Eastman Performing Arts Medicine Center
The mission of Eastman Performing Arts Medicine Center (EPAM) is to deliver the collaborative potential of the performing arts and medicine to the healthcare environment; to support the medical needs of artists through clinical and pedagogical support; and to understand through research the underlying mechanisms by which music improves health and well-being.
To achieve this goal, EPAM works within the following four pillars:
Heal
Providing expert care to performing artists with both chronic and acute conditions.
Care
Music and art therapy support the well-being of our patients across their spectrum of care.
Learn
Developing the potential of the arts in therapy, rehabilitation, and human performance.
