Education / Graduate Medical Education / Prospective Fellows / Endocrinology Fellowship Program Endocrinology Fellowship Program Our two-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship program provides a strong, broad-based, and multidisciplinary clinical and research experience for up to three fellows per year. We encourage all fellows to participate in the third-year research track to enhance their academic and research experience. Because of our well-rounded training with an academic focus, the majority of our fellows have obtained jobs at academic medical centers. Why Choose Our Program? We aim to create an excellent learning environment, through mentoring, engaging educational activities, and offering broad spectrum clinical experiences. Our fellows gain clinical experience with the entire spectrum of endocrine disorders. The fellows have the opportunity to work with our research faculty to enhance their understanding of research. The combination of bright, enthusiastic fellows, dedicated and diverse faculty members, and friendly and supportive staff makes our program one of the best in the nation. Curriculum Mentor Relationships Our fellows most commonly reference the personal relationships and valuable mentoring they receive as one of the top reasons why they would recommend URMC. Our Faculty Life of a Fellow Our emphasis on work/life balance is an important reason fellows choose URMC. A focus on trainees' well-being enables you to learn and thrive in Rochester. Living in Rochester What Our Fellows are Saying "My favorite thing about our program is how the fellowship program is the centerpiece of the Endocrine Division. The fellows are very well incorporated into the division, and faculty are genuinely invested and interested in furthering the fellows education and future careers. Whether your future career is predominantly in clinical care to purely research based, the faculty at URMC can prepare you well to do both.” Dennis Samuel, D.O.
