Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program
We are thrilled that all of our fellowship positions in our Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program for the 2024-2025 academic year have been filled. We have 4 fellowship positions per year.
We are welcoming applications for the 2025-2026 fellowship year. We exclusively use ERAS for application information and participate in the NRMP Match. Applications for the program MUST BE IN ERAS website ERAS website by August 5, 2024 when we will begin reviewing applications and offering interview dates. Additional details are available on the AAHPM website.
We are excited to offer two tracks for our fellows – a pediatric track and a neuropalliative track for physicians with prior experience/training in pediatrics or neurology respectively.
Current fellows have an opportunity to pursue an additional 1-2 years of protected time for research career development.
Interviews for the 2025-2026 fellowship year will be scheduled on selected Wednesdays in August - October 2024. Preferred candidates need to be Board Eligible or Board Certified by an ABMS-recognized board. Our ACGME-accredited fellowship includes outstanding multidisciplinary clinical training across the age spectrum in inpatient, outpatient, home and long-term care facilities.
A Unique Program
Our program offers fellows the flexibility to dedicate time to research, attend seminars and conferences and explore mentorship opportunities. Our program offers community based learning across six sites.

What is a program highlight for you?
I liked the ability to do home visits as part of our continuity clinics. I also loved the inpatient palliative care unit – an integral part of our training in managing end-of-life issues with patients and their loved ones.
