Milton J. Finegold Pediatric Pathology Fellowship
Milton J. Finegold Pediatric Pathology Fellowship
Philip Katzman, MD
Program Director
Welcome to the Pediatric Pathology Program! This is currently the only Pediatric Pathology Fellowship offered in Upstate New York. This one-year ACGME accredited fellowship is made possible by UR School of Medicine alumnus and pediatric pathologist, Dr. Milton J. Finegold. It is unique, as the fellow will work with the Department of Pathology as well as other departments at Golisano Children’s Hospital, but also the Monroe County Office of the Medical Examiner.
The fellow will be exposed to pediatric and perinatal anatomic, and clinical pathology training related to Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Pediatric GI, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Pediatric Surgery, Neonatology, and Pediatric Cardiology services with over 1000 general pediatric cases and over 2000 placental and perinatal cases per year.
