Neuromedicine
Neurological conditions are vast and complex. In fact, thirty percent of all hospitalized patients have some type of neurological problem. And as our population ages and diagnostic techniques improve, we’ll see more patients with neurological diseases. Our goal is to find new treatments and cures for a growing epidemic of these conditions including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, and muscular dystrophies.
We provide the most advanced and comprehensive care in the region for disorders affecting the brain and nervous system. We lead neurosurgery at all Rochester area hospitals, and our neurosurgeons see patients at locations throughout the region. Our neurologists provide the most comprehensive care in the region for all neurologic diseases, from the most routine to the most complex. We offer advanced stroke treatments that can save stroke patients when other treatments fail. Finally, we are supported by the region's most extensive research effort.
Your support will help our neuromedicine team in its quest to solve some of the most complex diseases of our time.
