URMC Crisis and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities ECHO

The University of Rochester Medical Center is collaborating with the NYS Office of Mental Health and NYS Office for People with Developmental Disabilities on a Crisis and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities ECHO, via Zoom. Sessions include didactics presented by a team of experts at URMC (expert team includes parent advocate) and case presentations presented by all members.

Our goals include:

  • Connecting 988/ Crisis providers who are interested in increasing their knowledge and expertise in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in their roles
  • Improving supports and interventions for Crisis Providers and their clients with IDD/ families

Structure and Schedule

Every Wednesday from September 18th to November 6th, 2024, 9am – 10am.

9am – 9:45am: Introductions, case presentation, discussion and recommendations

9:45am – 10:00am: Didactic presentation, Q&A
