The studies below are currently recruiting participants. 

FAM RISK STUDY

We're on a mission to better understand Children's health and well-being
We are looking for families with children 9 - 11 years old to join our study. The information we gather will play an important role in helping us understand and better treat children at risk of suicidal thoughts or behaviors. You or your child do not have to have a history of these behaviors to help. 

  • Parents receive up to $50
  • Children receive a gift card of $20
  • Eligible families receive up to $350 for completing all 5 study visits

Transportation, mileage reimbursement, and child care reimbursement may be provided as needed.

Project REACH

Lead Researchers: Arielle Sheftall, PhD, Associate Professor, URMC Department of Psychiatry
Kristin Valentino, PhD, Professor, William J. Shaw Center for Children and Families

We are looking for teens 13 - 17 years old and their parents to join our study. Our study is testing the effectiveness of two interventions to improve mental health. The information we gather will play an important role in improving treatment approaches for teen mental health and preventing suicide

  • Parents receive up to $150
  • Children receive up to $220
  • Eligible families receive up to $370 for completing all 3 study visits

Transportation, mileage reimbursement, and child care reimbursement may be provided as needed.
