Auxiliary Scholarship

Noyes Health Auxiliary is Offering up to $5,000 in College Scholarships

The UR Medicine Noyes Health Auxiliary proud to offer up to $5,000 in college scholarships to hard-working students, from high schools in our hospital service area who are planning on entering the medical field.

Fighting COVID-19 has shown the world how important essential health care professionals are to our existence. Scholarships will be granted to qualified students matriculating in an associate or bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university in medicine, nursing, or in another healthcare related field, including dentistry, ophthalmology, and pharmacy.

Students must exhibit probable success in the medical field demonstrated through rigorous coursework, honor grades, community involvement, volunteerism, leadership, and personal passion for a specific career in the medical field.

Applicants are asked to complete an application and to also provide:

  • Two letters of recommendation - one from the student's high school counselor and another from an individual who knows the student well.
  • An official copy of the student's academic transcript.
  • A list of senior year coursework.
  • A list of any additional courses the student may take in the last 20 weeks of school

Information about the Noyes Health Auxiliary scholarship is also available in the high school guidance offices of the schools in the Noyes Health service area.   If you have any questions about the scholarship process, please ask your guidance counselor.
