About Me

Michelle Shayne, MD, FACP is Professor of Medicine and Oncology in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Wilmot Cancer Institute of the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Shayne received her medical school training at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, internship and residency training at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and fellowship training at the Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Shayne's clinical and research interests include mitigating toxicity of cancer treatment in older patients, and cancer survivorship. She is the Co-Director of the Judy DiMarzo Survivorship Program at the Wilmot Cancer Institute.
