I am a clinical child psychologist specializing in integrative and interdisciplinary approaches to child mental health. I presently coordinate the School-Based Initiatives with Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness at UR Medicine, which provides comprehensive school-based behavioral health services, consultation, and training to youth and educators across the Greater Rochester region. My work includes the dissemination, implementation and program evaluation of comprehensive school mental health systems, mental health training for educators and community members, and increasing access to evidence-based mental health for youth and families. My current projects focus on evaluating the effectiveness of school-based mental health interventions delivered in disadvantaged and under serviced communities, on associations between parent- and teacher-child relationships and engagement/motivation in elementary school, and on policy issues affecting children's mental health.
