About Me

Travis earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Communication from the University of New Mexico followed by a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then completed both PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residencies at Duke University Hospital where he specialized in Solid Organ Transplantation. After residency training, Travis relocated to Utah where he was a Transplant Clinical Pharmacy Specialist prior to becoming the Clinical Coordinator for the transplant team and the PGY1 Residency Program Coordinator at Intermountain Medical Center. While in Utah he completed coursework to earn a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business. He is recognized as a Certified Pharmacy Executive Leader and is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist that has published and presented at state, national, and international meetings.

Travis is currently the Director of Clinical Pharmacy Practice, Research, and Education and is the Director of the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency. He has been involved in residency training since completing his PGY2 training and has served as a preceptor for clinical and leadership rotations, precepted research projects and presentations, chaired residency-related committees, and directed PGY2 residency programs. Travis serves as a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency guest surveyor for the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists (ASHP).

Travis is President of the New York State Council of Health System Pharmacists (NYSCHP), serves as Delegate in the ASHP House of Delegate, and member of the ASHP Council on Education & Workforce Development. He is a Past-President of the New York State Chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, past Chair for the ASHP Frontline Leaders Section Advisory Group, past Chair of the Educational Steering Committee for the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders, and past board member for the Utah State Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Travis is recognized and as a Fellow of ASHP.
