Christopher Tidd received his MD from SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse in 1997. He went on to complete his residency in General Psychiatry at URMC in 2001. In 2006, then made the move to London, Ontario Canada, where he joined the faculty at the University of Western Ontario as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2011 after having served as the associate residency training director at UWO and creating the resident psychiatry ER training rotation at the London Health Sciences Center emergency department. In addition to clinical duties in the ER, he provided acute inpatient care and outpatient services at LHSC. He joined the faculty at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2017 as an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and currently serves as the Medical Director of the Adult Inpatient Unit.
