Katlyn Rice, PhD is a Pediatric Psychologist and Director of Integrated Pediatric Specialty Care at Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness (PBHW). Dr. Rice works 50% time in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (outpatient) and 50% time in Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness (outpatient). She provides therapeutic support to children, teens, and families with a variety of medical conditions and stressors, but specializes in pediatric/AYA cancer and sickle cell disease. Dr. Rice is also involved in supervision, teaching, and research (quality improvement and program evaluation) regarding integrated behavioral health in pediatric specialty care. She completed her doctorate in counseling psychology at Ball State University, master's degree in mental health counseling at the University at Albany (SUNY), and bachelor's degree in biology and psychology at Niagara University.

Dr. Rice is a strong advocate for the profession of psychology and the needs of the patients we serve. She is currently the Secretary for the Psychology Coalition at the United Nations (PCUN): https://psychologycoalitionun.org/
