Katlyn Rice, PhD is a Pediatric Psychologist in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics (Joint). Dr. Rice primarily treats children, teens, and families with medical conditions and stressors. She works 50% time in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (outpatient) and 50% time in Pediatric Behavi...
Katlyn Rice, PhD is a Pediatric Psychologist in the Departments of Psychiatry and Pediatrics (Joint). Dr. Rice primarily treats children, teens, and families with medical conditions and stressors. She works 50% time in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology (outpatient) and 50% time in Pediatric Behavioral Health & Wellness (outpatient). In addition to providing direct clinical care, she also provides supervision and teaching to trainees and staff. Dr. Rice is involved in quality improvement and program evaluation research, particularly as it relates to integrated behavioral health in pediatric specialty care. She completed her doctorate in counseling psychology at Ball State University, master's degree in mental health counseling at the University at Albany (SUNY), and bachelor's degree in biology and psychology at Niagara University.
