Christopher J. Mooney, PhD, MPH, MA is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Medicine. He also holds joint appointments in the Department of Health Humanities and Bioethics and Public Health Sciences. Christopher J. Mooney, PhD, MPH, MA is an Associate Professor in the Division of General Medicine. He also holds joint appointments in the Department of Health Humanities and Bioethics and Public Health Sciences. Dr. Mooney is the Director of Assessment and Director of the Medical Education Pathway in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Mooney is an active member of the medical school's various curriculum committees.

Dr. Mooney is also involved in regional, national, and international medication education groups. He is currently President of the Society of Directors of Research in Medical Education (SDRME). Previously, he served as the chair of the Northeast Group on Educational Affairs' (NEGEA) Medical Education Scholarship Research and Evaluation (MESRE) Section and the Association of American Medical College's (AAMC) Medical Education Research Certificate (MERC) program.

In his various roles, Dr. Mooney collaborates with teams of educators, learners, scientists, and clinicians to study education and health outcomes.
