Dr. Dimitrios Papadimitriou was born in Holargos of Attica in 1981. In 2005, he graduated from the Dental Faculty of the University of Athens.

Dr. Dimitrios Papadimitriou was born in Holargos of Attica in 1981. In 2005, he graduated from the Dental Faculty of the University of Athens.
In 2008-2011, he specialised in periodontics and implants at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health, New York, USA. The following year, he continued his training on prosthetic implants and Digital Dental Technology at the University of Harvard, USA, as a fellow of the International Team for Oral Implantology (ITI Scholarship).
In 2012, he was proclaimed a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology of the American Academy of Periodontology.

Since 2012, he is a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the University of Rochester. He is responsible for the monthly update of graduate Periodontology students through literature reviews and the analyses of articles in global literature in the field of periodontics and implants. He is also responsible for organising student training seminars on Digital Dental Technology and the use of computer-guided techniques for implant placement.

He has presented papers at national and international conferences and has published scientific articles in international journals. He deals with the continuing education of dentists at a national and international level. His research focuses on sinus lifting techniques for placing dental implants and the planning and execution of treatment plans using modern digital dental technology systems. In his daily clinical practice, he works exclusively in Periodontics and implants.
