Dr D’souza majored in Biology at Miami University in Ohio and then went on to complete a Master’s degree in Public health at Wright State University. She attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada and graduated in 2014. She trained at St. Barnabas Hospital in New jersey for Internal Medicine and then went on to complete a Geriatric fellowship at NYU. She works at both Highland and Strong hospital, where she practices Geriatrics and general medicine. She is the medical director of the ACE unit at Highland hospital and has recently pioneered a Geriatric-Trauma Co management unit at Strong hospital. She has a special interest in the geriatric population and hopes to facilitate programs that improve care for our elderly population.
