UR Medicine Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation welcomes Kurt Hauber, MD

UR Medicine is pleased to welcome Dr. Kurt Hauber to the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Hauber is seeing patients in Brighton. His clinical interests are in interventional musculoskeletal medicine with a focus on shoulder, hip and knee conditions as well as performing electrodiagnostic studies (EMGs).

Dr. Hauber is a Rochester native graduating from McQuaid Jesuit High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in biology from John Carroll University where he graduated magna cum laude. He matriculated at Pennsylvania State University School of Medicine and earned his Doctor of Medicine in 2016. In 2017, he completed his internship in internal medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at MetroHealth Medical Center in 2020. During his residency Dr. Hauber served as Academic Chief Resident during the 2019-2020 year. He earned the Shu Q. Huang, MD Resident Electrodiagnostic Scholarship Award in 2019 and 2020 and the Asikin Mentari, MD Resident Scholarship Award in 2020.

Dr. Hauber is seeing musculoskeletal patients at 2400 S. Clinton Avenue, Bldg. H, Suite 150 and performing electrodiagnostic studies in our newly renovated Electrodiagnostic Laboratory at 4901 Lac De Ville Blvd, Bldg. D, Suite 250.

UR Medicine Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation welcomes Rondy Michael Lazaro, MD

UR Medicine is pleased to welcome Dr. Rondy Michael Lazaro.

Dr. Lazaro is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Sports Medicine. He has clinical interests in non-operative sports medicine, musculoskeletal injuries, ultrasound-guided peripheral joint injections, diagnostic ultrasound, running injury management, and performing arts medicine.

Dr. Lazaro graduated with distinction from Stanford University. He then matriculated at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2014. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Alameda Health System/Highland Hospital in Oakland, California in 2015. He then completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 2018, followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University and Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center in 2019.

Dr. Lazaro will see patients in Brighton and Brockport notably expanding the UR Medicine presence in the western area of Monroe County.
