The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and its foundation, Conquer Cancer, have announced that Wilmot Cancer Institute’s Karen Mustian, PhD, MPH, will receive the 2025 Walter Cancer Foundation Supportive Oncology Award. One of 11 special awards given by ASCO, the recognition is among the highest awards the national organization gives to recognize significant lifetime achievements in the field of oncology. This specific award focuses on honoring those whose research has contributed substantially to the fields of palliative and supportive cancer care.
