New York Presbyterian - Queens
Project SEARCH at New York Presbyterian – Queens is a high school transition program serving students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the NYC area, primarily Queens. Through a combination of classroom learning and 20 hours of internship opportunities per week, students spend a year gaining employability skills through the hospital with the end goal of employment in the community.

Typical Daily Schedule
8:00 – classroom
9:00 – department internship
Noon (approximate) – lunch based on department need and mentor schedule
1:00 – return to internship
2:00 to 2:40 – classroom activities
