Dr. Steele is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he also completed his Family Medicine residency in 1995. He is board certified by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He currently serves as Senior Instructor in Clinical Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.
Dr. Steele remains committed to the ongoing effort to maintain and nurture Primary Care within Rochester and the medical community as a whole, through both his teaching efforts and leadership activities. He currently serves on numerous committees and advisory groups with organizations including Rochester Individual Practice Association, CTAAB, Preferred Care/MVP, Rochester RHIO Project, and Excellus. Dr. Steele also serves as Associate Medical Director of the University of Rochester Primary Care Network.
Dr. Steele's community involvement extends outside of medicine as the bicycling coach for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, since 2002. Besides cycling, Dr. Steele enjoys soccer and skiing, but above all he enjoys time with his family.
