URMC / Golisano Children's Hospital / Giving / Grace's Garden / About the Garden About the Garden Healing gardens are rooted in Golisano Children’s Hospital’s commitment to patient- and family-centered care. Grace’s Garden will be an environment that supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones. As an outdoor space, it provides a “change of scenery” that offers plenty of colorful plantings and natural beauty as well as a “tree of love” that shows community support for patients and their families. When visitors enter the garden, they will be in a place filled with grace - exuding comfort, inspiration, and encouragement. The Tree of Love will be placed inside Grace’s Garden.
