Steps to Access Up-to-Date and eCV

  • You will need to know your AD (Active Directory) username and password – More About Active Directory
    • When you started you would have received an email with this information
    • If you do not have this information, you can call Information Services (ISD) at 275-3200 to request your AD username and then you will be able to reset your password
    • Tell ISD that you are a community provider and you need your AD username in order to access Up-To-Date and eCV applications.
    • ISD will direct you to a web page where you will be able to reset your password. You will need your UR NetID in order to reset the password. If you do not know your UR NetID contact University IT at 275-2000.
  • Once you know this login information, you can add the Citrix VPN to your personal computer
    • Access the Citrix download (on the left side of the page there is a version for the PC and one for MAC users)
    • If you have any questions – you can call Information Services (ISD) at 275-3200 and ask for help downloading the Citrix VPN (All community providers will need to use the Citrix VPN)
  • Once you have the VPN installed – you will need to connect to that first when you want to access Up-to-Date or eCV. When you connect through the VPN, you are on the Medical Center network. When you access Up-to-Date or eCV, you will be prompted to enter your AD username and password.
