Dr. Sharon Elad
Sharon Elad, DMD, MSc, is a Professor of Dentistry at the University of Rochester, where she is Chair of the Division of Oral Medicine at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH), and a Principal Consultant for Hospital Dentistry at University of Rochester Medical Center.
Dr. Elad runs Oral Medicine services which are focused on the diagnosis and non-surgical management of medically-related disorders or conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region.
Throughout her career Dr. Elad has been elected to several national and international leading roles. Currently, she is the Chair of the Oral Care Study Group of MASCC/ISOO. She is extensively published in the field of oral medicine and oncology, and active in international research collaborations.
