Welcome! I am thrilled that you are considering the addiction psychiatry fellowship at the University of Rochester. Addiction psychiatry at URMC has been providing expert clinical care in substance use disorder treatment for over 50 years. As a regional leader, we continue to innovate our clinical service delivery to meet the ever-evolving addiction treatment landscape. From meeting the unique needs of the adolescent and young adult population, to providing consultation to primary care practices across rural, suburban and urban demographics, URMC addiction psychiatry is building progressive treatment models to meet the needs of our diverse community. Strong Recovery – the primary outpatient clinical service for Addiction Psychiatry – is known for its clinical excellence and system-leadership in addiction treatment, as well as its engaging, inclusive, and wellness-oriented working environment. Fellows will be immersed in this robust clinical team and warm educational community as they are trained to provide excellent clinic care in addiction psychiatry.
