Hometown: I’m originally from India. I have been living in the Boston suburbs for the past 10 years.

Residency: Boston Medical Center (BMC)

What do you like about living in Rochester? Rochester is a nice mid-sized town. I find people in Rochester very nice and helpful. I love the finger lakes area which is only about an 1-1.5 hour away.

Why did you select URMC for your fellowship training? URMC being a major tertiary center has a good volume and variety of hematopathology cases.

What is the best selling point of your fellowship training? The volume and variety of cases PLUS the ability to independently work as a fellow under the tutelage of attendings.
