Curriculum Overview/Rotations
The General Preventive Medicine Residency program aims to train leaders in preventive medicine who are able to successfully pursue any of its many career paths including academic medicine, applied public health from the local to national levels, occupational medicine, and/or consulting. This training is provided by an integrated curriculum of
- Academically rigorous course work leading to a Masters in Public Health degree or other Master of Science degree
- 6-9 practicum experiences over two years;
- The equivalent of at least 1 full day a week of clinical preventive medicine experiences on average.
