Preface

This handbook summarizes the policies and procedures of the Ph.D. Program in Translational Biomedical Science. The general policies for graduate study at the University of Rochester are contained in the Official Bulletin, Graduate Studies 2016. Since policies continually evolve to respond to changing needs of the graduate program and our students, it is imperative that students and faculty advisors verify important information and consult with the Director and Coordinator of the Ph.D. Program in Translational Biomedical Science in the decision-making process.
