A multidisciplinary Stroke Team is prepared to mobilize at a moment’s notice to save lives and protect patients from preventable harm. Highland Hospital is a New York State designated Stroke Center of Excellence, and recipient of the 2010 American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award for consistent adherence to recommended protocols for stroke patients.
