Private Rooms with Special Monitoring Equipment
The neurosurgery inpatient unit at Highland Hospital features private rooms that were specially designed for the comfort, privacy, and complex care of neurosurgery patients. Each room is equipped with intercranial pressure monitors that enable doctors and nurses to closely watch and respond to the health needs of neurosurgery patients. Six rooms on the neurosurgery unit were designed for patients who need intensive care during their stay.
Each room has a flat-screen television, and several rooms have refrigerators, large closets, and fold-out beds to accommodate family members. A family room and a kitchen area are just down the hall.
