MRI Project Weekend Work

Contractors will be working on the MRI project for the next three weekends (Dec. 28 and 29, Jan. 4 and 5, and Jan. 11 and 12). A majority of the work will take place inside the building but some back up noise from trucks and dumpster noise is expected between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. There will be no work on Christmas or New Years.

The North Wall Project continues to move forward. To maintain the integrity of the wall, additional supports are being designed and built. Completion of the wall has been moved until after the holidays.

MRI Replacement Project

A mobile crane will be on site on December 16 to place the chiller on the roof. The crane will include noise from the engine running and will have backup beeping noises with in motion. It will be on sire from 7 a.m. to noon. The framework made of galvanized steel was hoisted to the roof by crane on December 9.

North Retaining Wall Update 12/5

The north wall is slowly progressing. The engineering team has decided that additional  supports would benefit the integrity of the wall. Those supports are in the process of being designed and built. Because of the need for extra supports, the project will most likely not be finished until after Christmas.

No MRI Construction This Weekend 12/7 and 12/8

This work should be completed by noon. The MRI is scheduled to be delivered on Saturday, December 28.
