Saturday Work 12/17
Crews will be onsite this Saturday, 12/17 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. installing windows and siding on various sides of the building, weather permitting.
During the week, crews will be working inside the building to finish drywall, painting, and various mechanicals. Outside, the tower crane will be in use, moving materials from floor to floor. Scaffolding and boom lifts will be in use for window and siding installation. Roofing continues on the 7th floor and various bump outs. Crews will also be working on installing a new manhole and storm piping.
In the next few weeks, crews anticipate bringing the site work up to grade to allow for settlement over the winter. This will generate minimal vibrations due to bulldozer movement, static roller, and dump truck tailgates closing. More information will be available on this blog as the time draws closer.
Crews will most likely be closing Mt Vernon for a week to remove the tower crane in February, similar to the install. More details will be communicated through this blog once they’re available. Please keep in mind that weather will have a significant impact on the crane removal.
There will be NO work on the following dates over the holidays:
- 12/24/22
- 12/25/22
- 12/26/22
- 12/31/22
- 01/01/22
