Saturday Work 4/2/22
Crews will be on site this Saturday 4/2 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. fire proofing structural members and installing framing and layout inside the shrink wrapped building.
During the week, the tower crane will be operating to install the roof and for other activities on site. Crews will be installing the layout on the 7th and 8th floors, including installation of the top track. Fire proofing structural members continues on the 6th floor plus interior and exterior framing on the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th floors. Swing stage scaffolding is installed on the east side and will be working its way around to the north side. Testing and inspections will be conducted on the buck hoist (a temporary exterior elevator). Once those are complete, that will also be operating during the week. Roof demolition and curb prep will also be taking place for the new boiler room that will be built directly above the 2nd floor corner of the Observation Unit.
Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
