North Oncology Entrance Construction

Construction crews  will be working on completing concrete apron and asphalt driveway restoration work at the hospital’s North Oncology entrance the weekends of May 18 and 19 and May 25 and 26. This means access onto Mt. Vernon Ave. at the North Lot and North Building will be closed both weekends. Work will start at approximately 7 a.m. and will be completed each day by 5 p.m.

For the weekend of May 18 and 19 - A majority of the work will occur within the right-of-way between the street curb and the edge of Highland’s property, and will included replacing portions of the concrete apron. Two way travel on Mt. Vernon will be maintained.  A traffic flagger and warning signage will be provided as necessary when equipment is in the roadway.  Sidewalk will be closed to pedestrians until Monday morning at 5 a.m.

For the weekend of May 25 and 26 – All work will occur on Highland’s property and will include replacing portions of the driveway. Construction vehicles may still need to be staged on Mt. Vernon. If this is the case, two way travel on Mt. Vernon will be maintained. A traffic flagger and warning signage will be provided as necessary when equipment is in the roadway.  Sidewalk will be closed to pedestrians until Monday morning at 5 a.m.
