The neurosurgeons that practice at Highland are specialty-trained, experienced, and widely respected in their fields. They work collaboratively with neurologists, pain management specialists, and a team of highly-trained nurses to manage the complex care of neurosurgery patients.

Private Rooms with Special Monitoring Equipment

The neuromedicine unit at Highland Hospital features many private rooms that are specially designed for the comfort, privacy, and complex care of neurosurgery patients. Many rooms are equipped with intercranial pressure monitors that enable doctors and nurses to closely watch and respond to the health needs of neurosurgery patients. Six rooms on the neurosurgery unit are designed for patients who need intensive care during their stay.

Each room has a flat-screen television, and several rooms have refrigerators, large closets, and fold-out beds to accommodate family members. A family room and a kitchen area are just down the hall.
