Matthew Ingalls Receives Outstanding Student Mentor Award

Matthew Ingalls was selected by the faculty to be this year's recipient of the Outstanding Student Mentor Award, based on his outstanding mentoring of undergraduate students in the Ovitt laboratory. This award, established in 2015, recognizes a student mentor who guides, supports and promotes the training and career development of others.

Catherine Ovitt Elected as a council delegate for the Dentistry and Oral Health Sciences Section of the American Association for the Advancement of Science

Catherine Ovitt, PhD, Professor of Biomedical Genetics in the Center for Oral Biology, has been elected as a council delegate for the Dentistry and Oral Health Sciences Section of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Her 3-year term will begin February 2020.
The AAAS is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science, engineering and innovation throughout the world for the benefit of all people. The AAAS is the world's largest multidisciplinary scientific society and publishes the journal, Science.
