Collaborative Projects
The Role of AhR in the Pathogenesis of UVR Skin Sensitivity in Lupus Patients
Project Collaborators: Lisa DeLouise, PhD, MPD; Todd Jusko, PhD; Jennifer Anolik, MD, PhD
The goal of this collaborative basic science and public health project is to assess sunscreen use and its potential impact on the immune system in patients with lupus. Data suggest a role for the engagement of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) in this process.
Understanding the Pathogenesis of Autoimmunity in Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID)
Project Collaborators: Maria Slack, MD; Jennifer Anolik, MD, PhD
As part of a larger project evaluating the immune dysregulation in CVID patients with autoimmunity, our lab is assessing the contribution of autoreactive B cells and loss of B cell tolerance to the development of autoimmunity in patients with CVID.
