Overview

The Highlands at Pittsford Living Center is a long-term care facility affiliated with the University of Rochester and located on the outskirts of the Village of Pittsford. Residents receive best-in-class clinical support, and all of our physicians are board-certified University of Rochester Medical Center faculty members.

Residents of The Living Center are welcomed as members of a family. Our aim is to foster a sense of connection for all in a home-like environment. Residents can rediscover things they once loved doing, such as gardening, taking part in our monthly Ladies’ or Men’s Clubs, or going to lunch at the Woodcliff. We value each person’s individuality. We encourage residents to bring their belongings to their new home and we’re happy to assist with creating the space that is most comfortable for each new family member.

Additional Information

Highlands Living Center is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our residents. We publicly share ratings of our facility as evaluated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS reviewers inspect our facility, its care processes, and documentation annually; the scores you see here are calculated on the combined previous three years of CMS site visit results. In addition to annual CMS visits, our facility continually evaluates our performance on these and other measures, and makes improvements to better serve our residents. While the results of those efforts are not yet reflected in the current CMS scores, we look forward to the 2025 CMS inspection so that we can share updated quality information.
