Overview
Brighter Days Pediatric Mental Health Urgent Care, the first of its kind in the region, is now open! The Walk-in Clinic offers evaluations and interventions to help young people up to 18 and their families experiencing acute distress, with no appointment required. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver for the duration of the walk-in visit.
Families and caregivers are encouraged to call (585) 275-8686 to speak to a mental health professional before arriving at the Urgent Care to help you get access to right care, right away.
The Walk-In Clinic is appropriate for youth:
- Who are in good behavioral control and not at immediate risk for harming self or others
- Who do not require medication to be administered on-site
- Who can be safely transported with their caregiver to the Urgent Care
- Who do not require immediate medical attention

Pediatric Mental Health Urgent Care CenterServices
At the Pediatric Mental Health Urgent Care Walk-In Clinic, our staff will be able to help with:
- Assessment and evaluation
- Safety planning
- Crisis intervention (e.g., coping skills development and coaching)
- Family-centered support
- Linkage to appropriate community and educational resources
If your child is not safe to go home or needs admission to another service, the Urgent Care will have the ability to support your family with that transition.
Billing and Insurance
As with most urgent care centers, we request payment at the time of your service. Fees and any deposits due may vary depending on the level of service needed and may not include Imaging or Lab Testing. If you have questions about insurance or payment at the time of service, please ask our reception staff when you arrive to better direct you. We are always happy to help. While we are not able to accept payments outside of your Urgent Care visit for that day, you can pay your bill online using our online bill payment system. Urgent Care Locations That Are Part of a Hospital
The locations below are considered outpatient hospital departments. Because of that, you may receive two separate bills for your careāone from the hospital and one from your provider. Depending on your specific insurance coverage it is possible you will pay more for services at our hospital-based urgent care clinics.
