Mission

To promote health and prevent disease with populations of Deaf sign language users and people with hearing loss through community-based participatory research (CBPR).

Goals

To eliminate health disparities in populations of Deaf sign language users and people with hearing loss.
To unite the RPRC:NCDHR, its partners and partner communities through enduring collaborative relationships.
To establish a rich, generalizable evidence base regarding health risks, determinants of health, and effective health promotion interventions in populations of Deaf sign language users and people with hearing loss and assure its dissemination.
To establish the RPRC:NCDHR as a leading health research organization.
