If you have the luxury of planning when you are going to begin trying to conceive, take advantage of it. Start preparing at least three to four months prior by:
- Forming healthy eating habits
- Exercising regularly and eliminating harmful habits including smoking and drinking
- Scheduling a pre-pregnancy checkup as well as regular checkups during your pregnancy
