COURSE DESCRIPTION
Overview
This course will provide participants with advanced education to optimize their outcomes for all individuals with shoulder injuries. This course is designed to provide information on the spectrum of rotator cuff disease and shoulder instability injuries. The intended audience is clinicians of all levels who want more information on treating shoulder patients with rotator cuff pathology or shoulder instability. Discussion will include conservative and surgical treatment for rotator cuff disease and shoulder instability, diagnostic testing and shoulder examination for patients with shoulder injuries, designing safe and progressive conservative and post-operative rehabilitation protocols, and return to sport testing after shoulder surgery. The overall objective of this course is to provide each participant with an understanding of the current knowledge pertaining to treating a range of shoulder injuries and returning these patients to high level activities. Participants will leave with techniques that can be immediately applied to clinical practice.
